Overview
The Professional Scrum Developer course is a unique and intensive five-day experience for software developers. The course guides teams on how to turn product requirements into potentially shippable increments of software using the Scrum framework, Visual Studio 2010, and modern software engineering practices. Attendees will work in self-organizing, self-managing teams using a common instance of Team Foundation Server 2010.

Modules Covered: Introduction, Scrumdamentals, Implementing Scrum in Visual Studio 2010, The Case Study, Hotfix, Planning, Emergent Architecture, Test Driven Development, Agile Database Development, Ship it, Overcoming Dysfunction.

Format
This course is a mix of lecture, demonstration, group discussion, simulation, and hands‐on software development. The bulk of the course will be spent working as a team on a case study application delivering increments of new functionality in mini‐sprints.
Each attendee is required to bring his own laptop to complete the exercises. Required software: Visual Studio 2008/2010.
Teachers
Rudi Larno has 10+ years of experience in the IT-industry. Professional, social and positivity are the character traits that define him best. Having a natural tendency to help and lead people when needed, he has completed several projects and opportunities as the team lead. His focus on architecture and design are complemented by the urge to deliver quality in everything he does.
Steven Kockelkoren has more than 8 year’s development experience, from which the last 5 years exclusively and intensively in .NET. He can be an important team player in complex .NET applications and wants to ensure the longest lifetime for an application using Microsoft ALM tools.

Target Audience
This course is suitable for any member of a software development team – architect, programmer, database developer, tester, etc. Entire teams are encouraged to attend and experience the course together, but individuals are welcome too.
Price
The cost for this training course is 1999,- euro (taxes not included). This price includes your participation to the training, coffee/tea, lunch and the printed materials presented.

Cancellation is possible up to 3 weeks before the seminar - if received in writing. In this case, 25% of the total amount is charged for administration. Otherwise, the full registration fee is due, regardless of the reason of cancellation. Replacement is possible at no extra charge.
